The Insurance Workplace (TIW) is an internet-based service aimed at assisting in the modernisation of the London insurance market and provides brokers, underwriters, risk managers and loss adjusters with a universal collaborative service.

David Edwards, managing director of TIW, said: “Although contract certainty and ECF (electronic claims files) are just two of the potential uses for the TIW application, our collaborative service offers much more. Now any practitioner can use off-the-shelf, secure software that can put them in touch with any third party; they also have a service where they can openly agree and store confidential documents, notify, track and audit changes while providing total transparency in the negotiation of their business.”
