The International Underwriting Association (IUA) has announced the arrival of a new body which will consist of London Market underwriters, with a view to generating more in depth knowledge and sharing expertise within the liability sector.

The Liability Underwriters Group (LUG) is chaired by Gerald Kittiyakara of Zurich Global Energy and hopes to provide a valuable service to the Market, establishing itself both as a forum for sharing views and as a research vessel on the issues facing the liability sector. The newly formed group will convene once a month to debate topical issues and carry out research for the benefit of other London Market professionals.
