Compensation plans unveiled |
|
Florida state insurance commissioner Kevin McCarty has filed plans in the State which would see workers’ compensation insurance premiums fall for the fourth year in succession.
McCarty’s plan still has to be approved but he described the move as “great news for Florida businesses and a boost for our economy”.
Under the plan, rates would fall an average of 13 percent and after four years of cuts the move has also been welcomed by senior business figures in the state.
